Trapezoidal muscle lower part training: Y-shaped lifting!
In the previous article, we introduced a training exercise for the lower part of the trapezoidal muscle "Sinking the Straight Arm Scapula". The article mentioned:
The trapezoidal muscle is the brightest muscle on the back, which can be divided into three parts! The upper, middle and lower parts. The functions of each part will be different!
Many people can only see the upper part of the trapezoidal muscle, do too much shrug training, and often ignore the middle and lower parts. This is a very bad situation!
Good lower trapezoidal muscle strength can help better stabilize the scapula, adjust the shoulder posture, and make you more secure during exercise!
Today I would like to recommend another good move to exercise the lower part of our trapezoidal muscle, and the function of rotating the scapula on the lower part of the trapezoidal muscle to perform Y-shaped lifting
Y Uplifting mainly involves the upward rotation of the scapula. It is mainly done by the upper and lower parts of the trapezoid and the serrata anterior muscle! In all the movements of lifting overhead, they will be involved, such as: shoulder push, snatch, etc.
How to do it?
You can bending, slanting, prone or stand!
Prone, extend your arms straight forward, at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock respectively. The thumb points straight to the sky.
The shoulder scapula retracts one after another, then start the trapezoid and exert force, lift your arms upward, and feel the scapula rotating upward until the arms and shoulders form a Y-shaped shape! Stay for a second, and then slowly replay!
Add to note that the scapula rotates upward to drive the arms!
Standing posture can also be performed. It is recommended that the arms be parallel to the ground at the beginning, so that you will pay more attention to the trapezoid!
