  Introduction to the difficulty of push-ups!

  Measure the ground reaction force (GRF) of each version of push-ups is a few% of the weight:

  1. Place the foot on a box with a height of 60.96 – 74%

  2. Place the foot on a box with a height of 30.48 – 70%

  3. Standard version – 64%

4. Put your hands on a box with a height of 30.48 – 55%

5. Put your knees on the ground – 49%

6. Put your hands on a box with a height of 60.96 – 41%

From the results, we can find that

  1 The higher the height of the foot pad, the higher the strength

  2 If the height of the hand pad is, the lower the intensity

  We can know how much resistance the body weight of the body has to bring to the movement when performing push-ups in different positions. We can also use this to understand that when training, adjust the difficulty of the movement according to your own muscle strength.

  For girls, you can slowly adjust the height of the arm support to increase the difficulty of the push-ups and reach a gradual mode! At the beginning, you can choose a height that can complete 15 push-ups at standard. Then gradually lower the arm height!
