In previous articles, we introduced FMS functional motion mode detection

Functional motion mode detection (FMS) is composed of Gray Cook and Lee, a famous American physiotherapy expert and training expert. Burton et al. research and innovation, widely used in the assessment of sports ability of American professional athletes, a test method aimed at discovering obstacles or defects in the body's basic movement pattern.

So what can FMS do? Simply put, it determines whether you can do certain movements.

FMS can let us know whether we have the ability to do certain movements.

FMS can also tell you whether the person being tested is at risk of injury.

FMS focuses on several other things, including asymmetry, mobility, stability and control of neuromuscles.

The main purpose of FMS is to set the accuracy of movements. Then, identify pain and dysfunction, establish appropriate series and conditioning to solve it.

FMS test uses 7 basic movements to detect the symmetry, weak chains and limitations of human movement, track and test sports compensation, and solve the weak chains and limitations of the body through corresponding movement training, so as to reduce athletes' sports injuries and improve athletes' competitiveness. The FMS test builds a bridge between sports medicine and physical training, allowing coaches to use rehabilitation knowledge more consciously to serve athletes' health in physical training.
