  Since starting to work in fitness teaching, there have been about 100 students. Whether they have been in class for a while or are new to fitness exercises, the biggest problem is muscle control, that is, they cannot complete the training movements with the correct muscle force.

  Some people may say that if you are sore after practicing, you are sore after practicing? But the consequence of not using the correct muscle force is to increase the negative of joints or other muscles. In the long run, it will cause joint wear, burden on tendons and ligaments, and imbalance in muscle development, which has a great impact.

  To help students find the correct muscle force, one of the methods I use most is one-hand training, and one-hand training has the following benefits:

  1. Helping to feel the correct muscle force

  Many training moves, such as large muscle groups using barbells or fixed equipment, such as grip and pushing, rowing, and even bilateral curls and shoulder pushing of small muscle groups, They are all trained by exerting force at the same time. If the above movement is changed to using dumbbells and one hand separately, because as long as you focus on the use of single-sided muscles, it is easier to catch the feeling of muscle force.

  2. Increase the use of core muscle groups

  Add unilateral training, due to the imbalance of weight and the body must be maintained, the core machine group will naturally be used to help the body balance.

  3. Adjust the balance of muscle strength

   Many people have the problem of uneven development of muscle strength. If you train in a general way, it is difficult to use both hands equally, which can easily cause muscle strength imbalance. One-hand training can allow both hands to operate the same weight and times, and can help muscle strength balance development over a long period of time.

  Although one-hand training has many benefits, it is also recommended to be added to the training schedule, beginners still have to be led by professional coaches to avoid injuries.
