Does the BMI index really determine obesity and body shape?

BMI index (i.e. body mass index, also known as body mass index, is Body Mass in English Index, referred to as BMI, is a number obtained by dividing the weight of kilograms by the square of meters in height. It is a common standard for measuring the body's weight and whether it is healthy in the world.

  BMI value for ordinary adults:

    Ultra-light: less than 18.5

  Normal: 18.5-24.99

   Overy weight: 25-28

  But! Is the BMI value really reliable?

BMI Value is just a reference value. To measure whether you are obese, body fat rate is more accurate than BMI

  Some current studies suggest that body fat rate and body composition are more important health indicators than only considering weight.
