Shoulder press is actually a very complex movement, involving the rotation of the shoulder joint, elbow joint and shoulder blades. Since the movement of each joint is responsible for different muscles, shoulder press determines the strength level of your upper limbs!
Standing Position pressing is the strong benchmark for your maximum strength in the vertical plane. Its main training is the front triangle of the shoulder, the upper chest, the three heads of the arms, and the core.
